Fellowships for a limited number of students are funded through the Office of the Dean of the College of Medicine. These fellowships are coordinated through the USF College of Medicine Office of Research. Students are encouraged to apply through the Research Office and the Office works to match students with a faculty mentor.
Fellowships came with a stipend for the assigned six week work period.
At the end of the fellowship, each student is required to submit a short paper about their experience. Many of these papers become poster presentations at the USF Health's annual Research Day in the spring.
